Hanging Out the Wash

Four lines, strung across the yard on T's,
Flapping in the wind, dodging spiders,
Trying not to drop the towels.
Lovely outdoor caresses.

What a nice image you create. I love hanging my clothes out on the line. Today's load dried in no time flat, it is that hot.

Yes, I've heard about your heat. I wasn't home at all on Friday, and DD wanted to know if I did any laundry. Ha ha. What a dreamer. I have to be careful about which days I hang clothes, because some days bugs seem to be hatching, and I don't like leaving my laundry out there at the mercy of all those bugs. Especially the squiggly black worm days. Does anyone know what those squiggly black worms filling the air in spring are? They look like short black threads, but they wiggle.

Beautiful post. You inspired me to do laundry... and to have an idea!
You know how you have Friday lists? What about Haiku Thursdays?

Nice photo, it looks like something from a fantasy movie.

Oh, oh. Lovely words.
And the image.............surely that is Sissinghurst Castle in Kent in the UK? ( having posted about it fairly recently, I think it may be!).

Yes, that's Sissinghurst. I saw your pictures. I liked them better than this one. I am usually moved by all your words and pictures.
