Planning My Day

If I'm not careful, I won't get done all I want to do today.
1)Practice Trombone
2)While doing laundry
3)Practice piano; also while doing laundry (lots of laundry)
4)Order Grapefruit from MIL and Teachers
5)Oh, no! I didn't get it all written down fast enough, and now I've forgotten.
6)Work on Quilt binding
7)Vacuum
8)File pile of filing on top of file box
9)Make vegetable stew and chocolate tea bread
10)Go to band practice

Note: HH bought another motorcycle Sunday. It's an 80cc Rupp. Very cute. Talked DD into playing a duet with me last night. Just one, but we played it twice (with no repeats). I just gave Fluffy Cat a tiny piece of plastic wrapper and she is having a ball chasing it all over the house. OK. I'm going to start laundry now!

Sounds like a good life!
I am overcome with laundry today too! I clean, put in a load and blog a bit...then start all over. I have to go to the grocery store soon.
May please have the tea bread recipe sometime when you get a chance?
I saw the bike that Mike H. bought from HH the other day. It looked so small and reminded me of the good old days, before everyone started buying those big bikes with too much stuff on them. I guess he is loving it...said it reminds him of when he was young and good times.

What a great image of a trombone, I will have to show the Bear. His two are in hibernation at the moment. Studios and model areoplanes ahve taken over.

Veg ie stew and choc. bread sound good. If it was me the vacuuming would be the last thing on the list!

Chocolate tea bread...yum. Sounds very civilized. I always make lists way longer than what I can get done. This way you don't have to make a new list for the next day ;-) I bet the duet was fun.

Darling Mrs. Staggs. How good to hear from you that Mike H is still fond of the W650. DD was very sad that HH sold it. I am glad the WLC is now paid for. I think 650 is an excellent size for a bike, and like the style lines and ease of the Kawasaki. I will have to hunt up that recipe. More on that later...

hhnb, Hello! What!? The bear is not playing? Model planes sound fun. Are they planes that go or planes that look good and sit still? Of course I have seen the studio. V impressive, and going great guns, is it? I ended up making spaghetti, well, I called it spaghetti, but it was rottini, I guess, because I ran out of time, and never got to vaccuming. DD is wondering about the community theater musical. They're doing Ragtime this year. I wonder if they have a viola part for the pit?

Yes, you clever brsmaryland. I have lots of list left over, plus practicing can repeat itself every day. Have you knit anything spectacular lately? I hope there will be more dueting with DD, and not on piano, at which I stink!

V. They are planes that fly! At the moment there are engine parts all over his work bench in his shed!

hhnb, Oh! How exciting. HH, DD and I go watch them sometimes at their little nearby airfield. One guy has a helecopter, and it's the most fun. HH used to mutter about taking that up again (he used to have a neighbor when he was a kid who flew model plains, but he's distracted now by you know what. (Things like you had in your pram.) I wonder if I can make vegetable stew in one hour. Maybe. Byeeeeee. I enjoy your visits.

Never heard of a Rupp motorcycle. (Over here a RUPP is a Road Used as a Public Path") in other words a rough green track that is open to motor traffic (and great for long distance trail bike rides).

It would seem it's going to cost $200+ to get the radio control converted to Australian frequencies ( this being beyond the Bear). And he's found a local club. Big boys and their toys, huh? ;^)
