After charging three batteries, and getting help from HH finding one that would keep a charge, I took this photo and DD stuffed it into the computer for me. She said she liked all the photos. I counted apples. On three trees I found 6 apples total, and none of them are ripe yet. It's Autumn. Why don't they know it? The grapes are about done, and there are puddles of them on the ground from dropped bunches. Maybe we'll have lots of apples next year.

So green and beautiful. It would be cool for you to take a photo in the exact same spot each week for the next month, just to watch the leaves change colors and drop...
What a pretty photograph Vita. Your grapevines are pretty. There is always something sort of romantic looking about grapevines to me. I remember one year, you made wreaths from yours, with a friend.
I think that apples do tend to be an every other year crop. At least that's the way it was on my old apple tree.
I like Boggywoggy's idea of taking a photo in the same spot over time.
Nice pic. And a rather nice BSA B31 350cc in the background. Since it is the plunger rear sprung model I guess its date must be about 1953/4?
Your apples and my grapes... they just won't get ripe. Didn't I read one time that every 7 years there is a bumper crop and they produce less for awhile? I think so. Maybe next year will be the 7th year for your apples and my grapes.

A- Perfectly absolutely correct.
BW -How sweet of you! I was just thinking I wish I could get it together enough to host a dinner over here. Anyway, Tuesday is the start of Community Band rehearsals. Wednesday is the other band's rehearsal. I wouldn't be able to play at all if it weren't for these bands that keep my lip workable. (Hippy is magic and doesn't need rehearsals, but I think she intends to come Wednesday.) Anyway, if a night this week works for us, it would be thrilling, and I could see all your fabulous home improvements in person.
