That poppy is huge! And those irises are beautiful. I bet it was a wonderful walk through the gardens.

I hope that DD has a lovely birthday. It looks like the weather was sure nice.

Those flowers are all so pretty. I've always wanted to visit that iris garden. Maybe one day!

First pic - a Moto Guzzi Le Mans (or "lemon" as known over here). I only ever owned one Guzzi - a V50 back in 1980. The Italians had a bad name for finishes then. I remember spilling some gas over the fuel tank and watching all the transfers floating off it! (It went very soon afterwards)

Hi, Avus. The Lemon (ha ha, funny) is just too fast. Daughter likes it, and they like to take it out and make sure it still goes to fast. The paint on this 1989 model seems to be holding up well. I've decided I won't mind when he decides he needs more room and sells it.

Oops. I meant to say "too fast" not "to fast." Alas!

Oh my, I have never seen such large poppies! I have tried my hand at them but they don't grow here. I need to get some iris in the ground this fall though. Too pretty!

Lovely, lovely flowers. The machinery looks good, too!
