I played with the Honda Benly for a while, but have now thought outside the box and have actually bought a CHINESE BIKE! A Sinnis 250 Retrostar. It's got a 250 Suzuki replica engine, and only weighs in at about 280 lbs. I am quite pleased with it, a bit more snap, crackle and pop over the Benly. Heresy, I guess after all the bikes I have had in the past.
MCN has pictures and comments, so I see it's the sort of motorcycle that would fit right in around here. Very cute, and with zip and nice light weight looks/sounds like a good choice.
I am more and more pleased with it Vita, the more I ride it - it completely satisfies all I need these days and looks good, too. I have just done a blog post about it if you are interested.
I note that the MCN tester was so impressed that he bought it!
They're unavailable here, but other Chinese bikes are popping up in parking lots where I see them, and one friend bought a Chinese scooter that she just loves.
