Ragtime
Tonight is opening night for Ragtime. DD is playing for most of the shows, or that's her plan. MIL and I are going Sunday to see her. OK, we may hear her. We're going to see the show. Fluffy Cat is wanting my attention, so I have to go now and give her attention. No one else is home. HH is off getting advice for his map from a guy with GPS on his Ducati. No DD, no HH, just me and Fluff Ball.
The Nighthawk was sold to make room for the Moto Guzzi. I don't know how other people do this. It doesn't work for me. I like these bike pictures, though. I'm coming, Cat.

Cool bikes. Did you know that my brothers were both moto-x-ers? I grew up riding big dirt bikes and even raced when I was in college! Har, har! It was hilarious!
I love that you finally added another blog! I missed your writing?
P.S. I like these bike pictures too!
I've been thinking a lot lately about a perfect day.
You and HH, Tom and Beth, Nancy and Mike, Patty and the Ex Mr. Myntti, my HH and a long motorcycle ride. We all end up for the night beside a beautiful lake. It's that time of day right after the sun goes down. You know, you can still see the water, but the stars are out. Mr. Harding is cooking his famous ribs and the music is Junior Wells, Mr. B.B. King and Van Morrison. Margaritas and ice cold beer, laughter and good times! See you there!
Woggy, you are so cool. Mrs. Staggs, I would now also add the new Mrs. Myntti to the crowd. She can ride a borrowed bike--she covet's DD's. The perfect lake has a nice outhouse for the perfect evening, and I can't decide after dinner's over and the music is turned off, what sort of moon to have... crescent? full? gibous? And are there just a couple tiny clouds to reflect and hide it's light? And the moon and whatever goes with it is reflected in the lake. And our laughter has gotten just a little quieter. And all our aches and pains are cured because it's a magic lake. And the kids are graduated from college, happy, healthy and have fabulous jobs.
Nighthawk v. Lemans
Very different bikes.
Nighthawk, buzzy 4 cylinder with laid back riding position.
Lemans, relaxed V twin with "eyes down, ass up" posture.
HH better steer clear of town riding with the Guzzi - it would be hell in the wrists!
Thanks for the Lemon comment on my blog, V, I have replied. Husbands are only big boys with more expensive toys when it all comes down to it!
I'm right there with you dear Vita and Mrs. Staggs. As much as a full moon delights, I'm growing partial to crescents. If we put it out there, maybe it will come true. We can modify the vehicles and how we arrive at that beautiful lake ;-) Missing you both.
